Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 29 branches throughout the United States. We primarily sell lumber products for our customers to make beautiful things and build happiness.

Position: We are growing and seeking Dispatcher for our warehouse. You will communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure coordinated schedules and timely delivery to our customers.

  • Minimum two years' experience with warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Experience in dispatching or coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in dispatch systems and office software.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Commitment to exceptional service.
Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching and assuring quality of product.
  • Oversee and manage warehouse staff and delivery driver's to work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Manage fleet of company vehicles, and manage and oversee employee's in regards to company driving policies.
  • Receive and prioritize service requests.
  • Dispatch drivers and field personnel, utilizing personal judgment on how to best utilize assets and assign routes.
  • Monitor task progress and provide updates.
  • Coordinate routes and schedules for efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records.
  • Respond to emergencies and service disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
  • This role is a safety sensitive position, subject to routine drug screenings.
