As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute test cases, contributing to the success of project-based software releases. Your expertise in software testing methodologies and your ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test plans will be essential in driving our commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer reports to the Head of RnD Solar Energy.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes project requirements and develops comprehensive test plans to verify software functionality.
  • Designs and executes test cases, focusing on end-to-end use cases to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Maintains meticulous documentation of test results and defects.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams committed to project-defined software releases, and actively contributes to discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Drives continuous improvement efforts in software testing processes, methodologies, and tools, enhancing overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Creates and executes manual tests.
  • Tests solutions comprised of software and hardware components.
  • Mentors junior Software Quality Assurance Engineers, sharing expertise and insights to support their professional growth and development.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Expert knowledge in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar, for the development of automated test scripts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop Systems implementation and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate functional requirements into effective test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using tools like Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM frameworks.
  • Competency in version control systems like Git and experience in Jira/Confluence, including Add-on Xray.
  • Limited Travel required.
