Business Office Withdrawl Clerk

The Business Office Withdraw Clerk maintains student accounts by creating and sending itemizations, creates textbook accounts, processes withdrawals and cancellations, residency changes, and future-term requests, communicates with non-active students, updates collection agency accounts, completes Canadian tax forms, and provides financial information.

Withdrawals and Cancellations

Prepare itemizations according to withdrawal policies. Adjust accounts and send final withdrawal letters. Adjust accounts according to cancellation policies.

Textbook Accounts and Adjusting Accounts

Create textbook accounts for students to use for registration, graduation announcements, and senior shirts. Manually adjust student accounts when they change residency. Process Residency Change reports.

Process Requests For Financial Information

Complete Canadian tax forms. Request address updates and other information updates for students whose mail is undeliverable. Process Coming Future Term report. Work through financial flags for students who have a future term created.

Process Non-active Students

Process future term students. Process collection agency reports. Apply changes in addresses and payments for collection accounts. Write off uncollectible collection agency accounts, mark bankruptcy accounts, write off settlement payments. Send delinquent accounts to collection agency.

BS: Accounting, BS: Business, HS (Required)

Work Experience
1+ years as a cashier, 1+ years in accounting

Microsoft Applications, Operating Office Equipment, Oral Communications, Stamina to perform typical office functions, Willing to learn department-specific programs, Written Communication
