About th is role: As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Palliative Care, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will work closely with a supportive team of 2 Palliative Care Physicians and 2 APPs at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. We're also PSLF eligible You'll work with a supportive and collaborative physician during your shift. You'll have a flexible schedule that prioritizes work/life balance. You'll work with our 30 plus provider hospitalist group and experienced ICU team. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. EPIC EMR (system-wide) You'll assist patients with goals of care, symptom management, and more. Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific). Ability to successfully com plete Intermountain Health's credentialing process Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position. Passion for Palliative Care. Experience in Palliative Care, Hospice, inpatient care, or related specialty required. About us.
