About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Palliative Care team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a supportive team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions, including symptom management and goal-setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing care to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products.
  • Passion for Palliative Care.
  • Experience in Palliative Care, Hospice, inpatient care, or related specialty required.
