Clinical Exercise Therapist

Job Summary:

A clinical exercise therapist is needed to provide comprehensive exercise therapy to cardiac rehabilitation patients. The role involves leading exercise sessions, educating patients on cardiac risk factors and providing ongoing communication to referring physicians. The ideal candidate will have a degree in exercise science or a related field, ECG interpretation experience, and relevant certifications in clinical exercise physiology. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field, master's degree preferred
  • 2 years' experience in cardiac rehab or successful completion of a 600-hour clinical internship
  • Current BLS certification, ACLS preferred
  • Ability to interpret ECGs and take vitals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
