The District Health Department No. 4 is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Support seamless day to day IT operation for the district. Respond to work orders submitted by staff in timely manner. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Confer with staff and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications. Maintain records of all assignments, onboarding, and deactivating access timely as necessary. Support and maintain user information including rights, security, and system groups. Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation, ensuring compliance to all HIPAA, State, and Federal laws. Conduct end-user training and workforce development on utilization of technology to gain effective and efficient workforce. Assist in maintenance, setup, and coordinate operations of all agency cell phones and business phone system. Read technical manuals and/or attend conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software used by the Agency. Accept other duties as assigned by the IT Supervisor. Wage: $23.16 per hour, increasing to $24.08 after successful probationary period, in accordance with current Collective Bargaining Agreement, plus full benefit package.
