MUSTS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client, a fast-growing medical device company in Durham, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team as a full-time employee. This role will be onsite 5 days a week, work the 2-10pm shift, and be eligible for benefits, annual bonus, and a pay differential for the shift you will work. The role of Quality Inspector is responsible for the quality assurance and inspection of various products for medical and surgical applications. Duties include joining a team of Quality Inspectors who focus on visual and dimensional inspection of our products, control and reporting of non-conforming product, and general quality activities as needed.

MORE SPECIFICALLY:

Perform Product Inspection (dimensional, visual, testing)

Calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, micrometers, height gauges, MicroVu, profilometer, CMM.

Read and interpret specifications and engineering blueprints

Maintain full traceability of product, parts and in process items

Ability to accurately document process steps in accordance with quality system

regulations

Prepare reports for non-conforming product

Collaborate with production team to determine final disposition of non-conforming product

Review fulfillment packing slips and packaged product for accuracy of quantity, lot

assignment, correct parts, etc.

Assist in Shipping, Receiving and Fulfillment, as needed
