This is a paid internship that is part of Heaven Hill's Summer Internship Program (May-August). The role is an office / hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located in the Greater Louisville area.
What the Role Is
We are looking for an intern to join our Human Resources team. As an intern, you will provide support to project work with various HR functions such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development. You will have exposure to confidential tasks that will drive efficiency, effectiveness, and customer service to the organization.

As part of the Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program, you will directly support the organizations strategic goals through project work and business-critical assignments. We're committed to providing valuable experience and professional development opportunities for students in our summer internship program. The summer experience consists of networking, intern development sessions & workshops, tours of Heaven Hill facilities, social events and more

How You Will Spend Your Time?
  • Support Talent Acquisition function with projects pertaining to job descriptions, I9 forms, etc.
  • Support Total Rewards function with projects pertaining to employee reward programs
  • Support Talent Development function with projects pertaining to online learning and onboarding
  • Collaborate across HR team to create and enhance HR onboarding practices
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Team to include preparation of various reports as requested and assistance with special projects
  • Process and maintain all Human Resource information with strict security safeguards and uncompromised confidentiality
Who You Are...
  • Currently a junior / senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and reports, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines

Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
