Job Summary: The Registered Nurse will provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader adhering to hospital policies and procedures. This role involves utilizing the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles to deliver professional nursing care.
Unit Overview: The Medical Surgical Unit handles medium to high acuity patients with a focus on patient care and shared governance. The team is welcoming and passionate about mentoring new RNs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize patient-family centered care principles in practice

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and RN with active license in State of Michigan
- Specialty Certification highly recommended after 2 years in specialty
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
Working Conditions:
- Physical Effort: Requires ability to lift, perform motor skills, coordination, mobility, and visual discrimination
