This role involves performing and directing Transportation engineering duties on multi-discipline transportation projects of moderate to large scope. Key responsibilities include performing analysis and design involving interstates and interchanges, urban roadways and bridges, site grading, stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics, storm drainage systems, culverts, erosion control, and site plan preparation; supervising and directing the work of Transportation engineers and EI/EIT’s assigned to the project; coordination with other design disciplines; managing the production of contract documents; and satisfying project budget and schedule requirements. Hard Skills 2-10+ years of civil/transportation engineering experience (private sector projects preferred) EIT Certification or PE License is preferred Experience with analysis and design involving interstates, interchanges, and urban roadways Proficient in MicroStation / OpenRoads Soft Skills Supervising engineers and CADD technicians Team leadership Report reviewing Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Virginia Beach, Virginia and some days remote. Work Environment This is a Monday to Friday position, offering a hybrid work schedule once the candidate is fully trained and showing efficient productivity.
