Overview

Trilon Group is in search of a seasoned bridge/structural engineer holding a professional engineer's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia to enhance our Transportation Division. The selected candidate will oversee, direct, and execute the design and detailing of bridges and various transportation infrastructures, including retaining walls. This role also encompasses client relations, team leadership, and the mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers. Exceptional performance will be recognized through career advancement opportunities, salary increases, and bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures.
  • Maintain an active P.E. license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Bring 10 to 15 years of experience in public sector transportation bridge projects and related structural designs.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation is preferred.
  • Experience with VDOT projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with VDOT standards and design criteria is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exhibit expertise in bridge and structural design software such as MDX, Descus, Staad-Pro, LARSA, and Conspan.
