Compensation Overview:
- 4-6 years of experience: $95,000 - $110,000
- 5-10 years of experience: $110,000 - $125,000
- 8-15 years of experience: $130,000 - $150,000
POSITION SUMMARY
Insight Global is on the lookout for a Team Lead to spearhead a Bridge Inspection and Design Engineering unit. The selected candidate will oversee report evaluations, lead inspection efforts, manage access equipment operations, liaise with vendors, and facilitate effective communication with onsite personnel to drive project progress. The role is primarily based in a hybrid format, balancing office responsibilities with field engagements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough inspections and lead teams in evaluating bridge conditions.
- Review and analyze engineering reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and stakeholders.
- Operate necessary equipment for inspections and assessments.
- Travel across Virginia for site visits and inspections.
- Perform site evaluations during nighttime as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior professionals.
- Extensive experience in report review and inspection leadership.
- Operational experience with relevant equipment.
- Willingness to travel and conduct nighttime site visits.
- EIT certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years in civil engineering roles related to Bridge/DOT.
- At least 1 year of experience specifically in bridge inspection.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in quality control review processes.
- Proven track record of initiating and managing new projects.
