Who We Are Mattress Factory is a contemporary art museum on the Northside of Pittsburgh, founded in 1977. We feature site-specific installations created by artists in residence from around the world.

Preferred Requirements • Passionate about art and artist and excited to share that passion with others through various forms of interpersonal communications. • Interested in gaining experience in a non-profit arts setting, specifically in digital marketing which includes market research, press outreach, social media management, content creation, campaign analysis, and general administrative support. • Strong writers and communicators who are highly detail oriented. • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, platforms. • Proficiency in a CMS platform (ex: WordPress), email and social management software (ex: Buffer or Mailchimp) is a plus. Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics, and Google Search Console is a plus. • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field.

Your Role • Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, web, SEO/SEM, and social media advertising. • Monitor and manage social media platforms, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics. • Assist in the cultivation and analysis of marketing campaign performance data and prepare reports with actionable insights for marketing-related projects. • Collaborate with various museum departments to design and execute marketing for events, exhibitions, membership, and educational programming. • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and maintaining marketing materials inventory along with other miscellaneous duties as required.
