Job Description

This is a fast-paced work environment which requires high attention to detail and teamwork to accomplish daily workload and ensure high touch patient care. The position supports all endeavors with regulatory compliance including pharmacy.

CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Positive patient and client experience throughout the entire patient journey.
  • Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy
  • Picking up mailed in applications/ correspondence and scanning into system
  • Contacting patients/ providers for application information
  • Transferring prescriptions to vendor for fulfillment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws.
  • All other duties as assigned.

*** This is a hybrid role, the team does rotating shifts that include an early shift 7am-3:30pm CST and a later shift 10:30am-7pm CST.**

Qualifications:
Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current MO pharmacy technician registration in good standing, or eligible to obtain
  • Basic math calculation skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to adapt and develop new skills as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year pharmacy technician experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of shift), walk, talk, and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
