This is a paid internship that is part of Heaven Hill's Summer Internship Program (running May-August). The role is based at our Deep Eddy Vodka Facility in Buda, TX.

As part of the Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program, you will directly support the organizations strategic goals through project work and business-critical assignments. We're committed to providing valuable experience and professional development opportunities for students in our summer internship program. The summer experience consists of networking, intern development sessions & workshops, tours of Heaven Hill facilities, social events and more

What the Role Is

The Manufacturing Operations Internship is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, gaining broad experience in various aspects of production. As an intern with at our Deep Eddy Vodka operations site, you will assist with several engineering related projects.

How You Will Spend Your Time?
  • Participate and provide support on technical engineering projects in collaboration with team
  • Support, recognize, define, and solve problems / identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
  • Gather information and develop insights to support projects
  • Develop and deliver a presentation to Executive Leadership Team at the end of your internship experience
Who You Are...
  • Currently a junior / senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing/operations management or a related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Ability to multitask, time manage and prioritize
  • Strong attention to detail and statistical analysis
  • Ability to work independently with concise instructions
  • Experience in production environment preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing duties of job, employee is frequently required to stand; extensive walking; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Will be required to climb stairs and may be required to climb ladders. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
