Description:
The ideal candidate will have the ability, experience and desire to be involved with and help lead all aspects of media marketing efforts. The marketing efforts will be focused on continual market data analysis and research, media performance analysis, new product promotional plans and helping develop and execute marketing programs for SCT’s full portfolio of products.
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a leading role in the development of marketing materials, including social media posts and ads, promotional email blasts, trade ads, trade show displays, videos, manuals, and other marketing collateral as needed.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of narrative-based Marketing Strategies
- Support development of digital media, website, e-mail campaigns, etc., optimizing SEO and other tools
- Work with cross-functional teams to assign owners and develop content for lead-generating marketing material that will be displayed on the SCT website
- Lead implementation of SCT social media strategy for both customer facing and recruiting marketing efforts
- Assist ongoing development of SCT social media strategy
- Develop marketing themes for trade shows, displays, customer meetings, etc.
- Conduct marketing research & analysis of market trends
- Conduct analysis of media key performance indicators and report on growth and analytics to stakeholders
- Develop and implement experiments and conversion tests
- Develop promotional campaigns, materials, collateral, etc. and scale to maximize ROI
- Monitor campaigns, digital ads, and budget
- Support requests from Sales Teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- 4+ years of media marketing experience
- Knowledge of current marketing theories, i.e., Donald Miller’s Story Brand, a plus
- Experience with social media marketing (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram in particular) & search engine optimization
- Experience with digital marketing tools, Hootsuite and ActiveCampaign preferred
- Graphic design, video production experience, etc. a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, a plus
- Experience using WordPress is preferred.
- Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work with stakeholders in various departments to collect relevant material for marketing and research efforts
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and exercise independent judgement
- Organizational agility, working through various channels and across functional areas to obtain necessary inputs
- Strategic relationships, building cross-functional trust and collaboration through interactions with various departments
