Dalton Box, a TRG company and affiliate of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a 1st shift Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician at our Dalton, GA facility

As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining all converting equipment to minimize downtime. You will also troubleshoot, install, repair and perform preventative maintenance on our equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Multi-craft technician.
  • Willing to work all necessary hours, including OT.
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure peak equipment performance.
  • Complete all work orders in a timely manner.
  • Observe safety and security procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
  • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Detail oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills.
  • Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
  • Ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
  • Willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
  • Minimum of two-three years of maintenance experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
