Sunflower Medical Group is a physician-owned private practice with four locations and 38 physicians in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We are seeking a full-time Family Practice physician for solely outpatient medicine & urgent care at our new East Lenexa/Overland Park, KS office location at 10950 W 86th St conveniently located right off of I-35/69 Highway & 87th Street. We have been rapidly growing and are looking for additional entrepreneurial physicians to join our team.
We have been an NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Home since 2013. We employ a Clinical Quality Manager, a team of Care Managers as well as Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers which allow us to have a strong focus on behavioral health as well as overall population health for our patients. Our ancillary services include on-site lab, x-ray, EKG, and ultrasound.
The Lenexa/Overland Park clinic location currently has 4 internists, 3 family practice physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. The new physician would see patients in the clinic on an outpatient basis as well as cover shifts in the urgent care as needed. There would be no inpatient rounding. Competitive starting salary, 3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME time, full benefits package and malpractice covered by the group. Partnership opportunities after 2 years of employment with 1 year on a production model. Building ownership opportunities are available as well.
Job Requirements:
M.D. or D.O.
Completion of an accredited residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible
