Who you are: Machine Designer candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of mechanics, a passion for design and an ability to translate those into the appropriate drawings and instructions for the manufacturing process. Top candidates will have: Machinery design knowledge including understanding of power transmission, bearings, and tolerances of machined parts The ability to apply standard equipment and/or develop custom equipment based on customer applications Understanding of the welding and fabrication process. Knowledge in machinery design or other related experience is also desired. The ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products is preferred Experience using Solid Works is expected.
