Job Summary:

As a QA Automation Engineer II on the Envestnet QA team, you have a passion for high quality software deliverables and client/end-user satisfaction. You are a creative, self-starting individual with strong communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You are skilled at defining test cases, exploring expected outcomes, and automating test cases both front-end and backend. Job Responsibilities:

• Validate and certify UI and back-end changes for various strategic initiatives and feature enhancements with quality, while ensuring business requirements and client expectations are met
  
• Break down business requirements and user stories into well-defined and comprehensive functional test plans, test cases, and automation-ready test scripts
  
• Perform manual and automated testing of enhancements, strategic initiatives, and reported defects
  
• Automate, organize, and maintain automated and manual test scripts
  
• Able to understand In-house developed Automation frameworks, setting up the code base and test script execution
  
• Proactively escalate high priority issues and follow through with resolution
  
• Perform effective Root Cause Analysis and work with team on any corrective actions
  
• Identify, record and track progress of defects and enhancements with clarity and accuracy
  
• Ensure bugs and client-reported issues are triaged and tested per SLA
  
• Effectively create metrics and data from Jira to communicate within the team and with internal stakeholders on status of deliverables and key client initiatives 
  
• Participate in scrum ceremonies, always acting in the capacity of a QA Ambassador, ensuring high standards of quality in all team activities and decisions
  
• Develop a thorough understanding of the wealth platform to better understand testing needs and client expectations
  
• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications: 

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject
  
• 5+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
  
• 3 - 5 years Proven experience with backend testing/API testing using Postman
  
• 3 - 5 years hands-on automation experience with Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model Structure
  
• 3+ years of experience on writing automation tests in Java Script (node.js, React.js)
  
• 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
  
• Expertise with CI/CD based environment
  
• Expertise in developing and executing test plans and test cases, test strategies, test schedules, test estimations, and bug tracking management.
  
• Experience in creating and executing SQL scripts
  
• High proficiency in developing and executing test cases (including API tests) with quality
  
• Great analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with complex multi-tier integrated applications
  
• Detail-oriented and working knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies
  
• The ability to analyze problems, find bugs, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  
• Ability to learn and gain domain knowledge real-time
  
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with a global team during all phases of SDLC
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working in financial technology company/Finance Domain knowledge
  
• Experience testing in an AWS environment /cloud infrastructure
  
• Experience with microservice concepts and testing
  
• Experience with Performance testing / Cross-browser testing using BrowserStack / mobile testing
  
• Experience with Cypress
  
• Automation scripting experience with Java
  
• Experience with AI testing tools
