How you'll be there for students:

  • Advocate for students' behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development
  • Counsel individual or small groups of students in multiple grade levels
  • Nurture student potential through personalized, small group, and classroom counseling
  • Provide support to families, classroom teachers, school personnel
  • Perform learning assessments and empower parents and school personnel by helping them access community resources

What we'll need from you:

  • FL DOE-issued School Counselor Certificate/Statement of Eligibility or School Social Worker Certificate/Statement of Eligibility; DOH-issued LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW (interns accepted)
  • Master Degree in a Counseling Field
  • Experience with counseling children and/or students in a school setting
  • Willingness and ability to work with various grade levels
  • Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication
  • A passion to help students
