Navi is hiring a Scheduling Specialist to help continuously improve customer experience and care for clients, nurses, and healthcare partners, while also supporting the scale of Navi's operations.
Scheduling Specialist Role Summary
The Scheduling Specialist ensures active clients and active nurses receive the optimal support needed to efficiently post, execute and complete their scheduled shifts. As the project manager for shift scheduling and active client / nurse communications, the Scheduling Specialist will interface with sales development representatives, the client billing team, nurse operations, nurse recruitment, and the payroll team to ensure a high quality of care and data integrity.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
The Scheduling Specialist will be part of Navi Nurse's Business Administration team. This individual will report to the Director of Operations (DoO) and support the nurse operations and nurse recruitment teams.
- Responsibilities to Nurse Operations
- Respond to inbound email, text message, form, and call support questions from active clients and field nurses, Nurse Navigators and/or business partners.
- Execute shift scheduling and communication of a client's co-created plan using Navi's systems and tools.
- Ensure all client shifts are scheduled correctly and open client shifts are filled each day, through the utilization of Navi's messaging and scheduling platforms.
- Escalate clinical nurse and client issues to the Nurse Navigators for resolution of support needs.
- Responsibilities to Nurse Recruitment
- Interface with Navi's recruiting, engagement and operations departments, to support special projects and assignments that will be approved by the DoO.
- Responsibilities to Business Administration
- Complete and deliver daily reporting and analysis on scheduled shifts .
- Execute special projects and tasks assigned by the DoO.
- Associates degree or equivalent, preferred.
- Ideal candidates will have degrees and / or certifications related to healthcare and / or nursing.
- Ideal candidates would have at least 2 years of experience in customer support, customer success, and / or general administrative work, especially in an office and / or healthcare setting.
- Comfortability with technology and excellent knowledge of Google Suite Tools, Gmail, and project management platforms.
- Enjoy a fast-paced, startup environment with high levels of autonomy and ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
- Excitement to adapt to the changing responsibilities of this role as Navi continues to scale across the US.
- Location
- Preferred candidates will live in Arizona.
- Remote; Scheduling Specialists are eligible to be considered for remote work after completing 40 hours of training.
- Schedule
- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Sat-Sun 10am-5pm, Arizona time
- Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including weekends.
- Flexibility in weekly hours and days worked.
- Role Type
- This is a 1099 contract position. High-performing candidates may be eligible for employment after at least 6 months.
- Compensation
- $16-25 per hour based on experience level and certifications. Opportunity for performance-based bonuses on at least a quarterly basis.
