The Transient & Leisure Sales Manager is a business travel/leisure travel sales-person who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and the hotel/business travel industry. The Transient & Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting and business development to effectively sell guest rooms to transient partners including business travel, consortia, agency, leisure and wholesale customers which support the overall revenue goals for these defined segments. Conduct site inspections, execute sales trips and represent the hotel at trade shows Client entertainment for potential and existing clientele to develop, strengthen and maintain relationships Prepare and present effective proposals, RFPs and contracts Maintain well organized documentation and reports, including a comprehensive RFP and rate loading tracker Create and implement strategic quarterly sales action plans to meet and/or exceed quarterly sales goals Deliver high-touch, high-level service to all preferred accounts, working closely with reservations and the Front Office to arrange, prepare, communicate and deliver an exceptional booking experience Leverage Hyatt’s tools, systems, network and database to drive results Actively participate in strategy and sales meetings Responsibilities include selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups. All other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role Experience in luxury and/or lifestyle hospitality sales preferred College degree in Business or Hospitality preferred Must be proficient in general computer knowledge Primary Location: US-GA-Savannah Organization: Thompson Savannah Pay Basis: Yearly Job Level: Full-time Job: Sales Req ID: SAV003215 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
