Job Summary:

The Quality Control Tech I provides general administrative support to the Quality Control Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general clerical functions including filing, scanning, data entry, and digital document storage.

• Prepare, organize, and file Quality, Production, Inspection and Shipping Records.

• Provide administrative support and assistance to the Quality Control Department as needed.

• Organize and prepare a report on the work orders in-process in the Quality Control Department.

• Provide administrative support for the management of purchase orders to outside service vendors.

• Perform data entry and retrieve information from the enterprise software system (Visual).

• Provide administrative support for the management of the tool calibration system.

• Provide additional administrative support to the General Manager and Management Staff.

• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work.

• Knowledge of and ability to use enterprise software (Visual, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

• Fundamental understanding of the activities and requirements of the Quality Control Department.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support Quality Control Department personnel.

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of one year of office/administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of advanced education (Associate's Degree) and experience.
