Sutter Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Level II.
Position Overview: The Radiology Technologist II performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations and operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment. They ensure that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames and prepare for and assist physicians in radiological diagnostic and/or guidance imaging during invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs DXA Bone Density and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images
- Explains and educates patients on procedures and associated biological effects in a clear and professional manner
- Mentors and fosters a constructive environment for students and new technologists
- Performs general clerical tasks and maintains a safe working environment
- Maintains strict confidentiality of patient information and adheres to compliance standards
