The members of our Ravenna Plant Maintenance Team work together to perform a broad range of maintenance duties, including facility, electrical, and machine repair.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical as well as electrical installations and repair on all machinery throughout the plant.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery in line with established programs and schedules. Must be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot machine problems to prevent serious mechanical failures.
Perform maintenance on all safety guards and devices including the wiring of all electrical devices to meet NEC codes.
*Perform troubleshooting of PLC controlled equipment
Maintain proper records on all machines and maintenance work including assisting in the establishment and maintenance of a spare parts inventory as well as the specifying and procurement of spare parts.
Perform work of an equal or lower classification as required.
Support all LEAN initiatives and Kaizen events as required.
Qualifications:
Must be able to interpret complex machine drawings and wiring diagrams, use advance shop math, utilize a variety of measuring instruments, mechanical and electrical, and have a good knowledge of mechanics and electrical wiring.
Must possess own basic hand tools, combined with a Company tool replacement program; other tools provided.
A minimum of three years prior maintenance experience required.
Must be able to lift or move light to heavy weight materials up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
