  Codexis is a leading enzyme engineering company leveraging its proprietary CodeEvolver® technology platform to discover, develop and enhance novel, high-performance enzymes and other classes of proteins. Codexis enzymes solve for real-world challenges associated with small molecule pharmaceuticals manufacturing and nucleic acid synthesis. The Company is currently developing its proprietary ECO Synthesis™ platform to enable the scaled manufacture of RNAi therapeutics through an enzymatic route. Codexis enzymes can drive improvements, such as higher yields, reduced energy usage and waste generation, improve efficiency in manufacturing and greater sensitivity in genomic and diagnostic applications.

About the Opportunity:   The Senior Supply Chain Systems Specialist is responsible for 
the support and optimization of our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, robustness and cost-effectiveness.  The ideal candidate will be hands-on; blending technical expertise, analytical skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach to drive continuous improvement in the group. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain. The position will be based in Redwood City, CA.   If any of the below describes you, we would love to meet you

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Evaluate and optimize the supply chain process end-to-end (order management to delivery of goods) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, assess and mitigate risk and improve overall performance.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights from supply chain data and provide reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Effectively build consensus on proposed improvements and lead implementation including proper documentation and training. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and priorities. and build consensus on proposed supply chain activities.
  • Mentor team members and engage in day-to-day operations focusing on rapid issue resolution and improvements – may include performing daily activities of various roles.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance across team functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with company Quality System, industry standards and safety regulations.
