Senior Supply Chain Systems Specialist

About the Opportunity:

The Senior Supply Chain Systems Specialist plays a vital role in supporting and optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, robustness, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, combining technical proficiency, analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aiming to drive continuous improvements within the team.

This position, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, will be situated in Redwood City, CA.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluate and optimize the supply chain process end-to-end (order management to delivery of goods) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, assess and mitigate risk, and improve overall performance.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights from supply chain data, offer reports, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Build consensus on proposed improvements effectively and lead implementation, including proper documentation and training.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and priorities, ensuring compliance with quality systems, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Mentor team members, engage in day-to-day operations focusing on rapid issue resolution and improvements, and develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team functions' performance.
