Responsibilities:

The Nurse Educator (RN) will be responsible for planning, developing and implementation of centralized and decentralized educational programs, including:
  • Orientation
  • Staff development
  • Continuing education activities for Nursing and Allied Health employees across all shifts, as required
  • Achieving employee performance requirements via adult learning principles, educational methodology and effective evaluation techniques
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
  • Master's Degree in Nursing and/or a related Education field
  • NJS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
  • 1+ year of Nursing Education / Training experience
  • Nursing Specialty Certification in Nursing Professional Development or Specialty Certification from ANCC
