Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing brands to life in commercial channels. They will work with brand managers and commercial sales to design programming in line with brand strategy and standards, adapt to individual market conditions, and execute across the country.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and customize commercial brand programming initiatives to align with brand marketing plans. Translate brand strategies into actionable trade programs to drive growth and market share.
  • Work closely with field and distributor portfolio managers to align strategies and execute brand initiatives effectively across different markets.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of on and off-premise playbooks, providing support to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Take charge of PBG brand market-level execution across the entire portfolio. Own the execution and regional-focused aspects of aligned brands that do not fall under brand or partner lead.
  • Manage the creation, distribution, and placement of POS materials to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Develop a portfolio of executional standards and create compelling selling materials to support sales efforts.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive trade calendars encompassing all brands and markets, including coupons, point-of-sale (POS) materials, sampling activities, and major brand programs ensuring it is appropriately tailored to the size of the portfolio and commercial capacity.
  • Ownership of POS process including overseeing ordering and tracking of materials, rebate, and promotional processes, ensuring timely delivery, efficiency and effectiveness in execution.
  • Implement rebate programs, coupon initiatives, and other promotional activities to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the commercial team, facilitating communication and alignment on commercial brand strategies and execution plans.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of brand programs and track associated budgets to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or related roles within the consumer goods industry. Ideal candidate will have experience with adult beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing commercial brand programs and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trade marketing software/tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% or as business needs change.
