This will involve working closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, explaining product features during live demonstrations, and ensuring that the technical aspects of the product are understood by both the sales team and the customer. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles. Lead meetings with both existing and potential customers to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution. Uncover business requirements, define strategy, provide contrasting alternative approaches and build strategic relationships. Identify business drivers and risks involved with the customer and Foresight Intelligence Answer and educate Foresight Intelligence customers on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to implementation of desired solutions. Independently manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses. Independently structure and produce compelling sales proposals (SOW's) as well as create technical documentation outlining the cost savings, return on investment and/or business benefits to Foresight Customers. Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally including at events, seminars, webinars, and at customer and partner meetings. Technical ownership of trials from start to finish. Responsible for developing the turnover documentation. Responsible for the hand off to Customer Success. Effectively communicate client needs for future product enhancements. Work with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary. Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm and convert high-level directives into high value opportunities. White boarding solutions with ability to describe optimal workflow. Be the field technical leader and drive the full project cycle from intuitive demos, POC’s, to final phases of describing the full solution to the customer. Deep product knowledge – take the initiative to become the expert. Other duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, required. 7+ years’ experience as a Sales Engineer. Professional Engineer License strongly preferred. Industry/Telematics experience strongly preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Experience having independent conservations with C-Suite and Technical Executives. Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions. Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; good judgment, problem solving and resolution skills. Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Very strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated collaborative abilities at all levels of management as well as technical and non-technical customers. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Detailed knowledge of APIs and experience in integration of multiple systems (financial, ERP.) in managing workflow. Ability to take initiative in the technical sales cycle. Up to 25% travel. Physical Requirements: Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
