Position Overview

This role requires a professional who can effectively engage with various application teams to comprehend their requirements from an observability perspective. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to facilitate enterprise-level observability transitions, managing multiple projects concurrently across diverse application teams and platforms.

Key Competencies Required:

1. **Omnibus Expertise:** Proven experience with Omnibus tools and methodologies.
2. **Stakeholder Engagement:** Ability to communicate effectively with business application teams to ascertain their observability needs without promoting alternative solutions.
3. **Project Management:** Demonstrated capability to oversee several workstreams simultaneously, ensuring alignment across approximately ten different platforms.
4. **Technical Proficiency:** Strong technical background to engage in meaningful discussions regarding observability requirements and to provide hands-on support.

Technical Skills:

- **Ansible Proficiency:** Experience in scripting and automation using Ansible, with a focus on innovative problem-solving and challenging the status quo.
- **Agent Deployment:** Familiarity with deploying a significant number of agents, ensuring optimal observability across systems.

We are looking for a candidate who is not only technically adept but also possesses the ability to think critically and creatively in addressing observability challenges.
