The Program Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a key member of the Talent & OE team within Human Resources and proactively collaborates with peer Program Managers and other HR Centers of Excellence (CoE).
This position manages and executes on strategies that develop our internal professional and leadership level talent while readying the organization to meet future skill-based needs. The individual in this role will actively contribute to employee engagement initiatives, operational goals and organizational culture through the design, delivery and evaluation of WE University courses, programs, tools, and assessments. In addition, this individual will utilize experience in coaching, mentoring, and organizational effectiveness to hone individual and team effectiveness.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and facilitate the implementation of learning & organizational development strategies. Assess impact and project specific needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, vendors, or colleagues. Recommend, utilize, and implement talent solutions organization-wide.
Manage existing foundational/advanced courses and nomination-based programs to ensure a robust internal talent pipeline to support succession planning and organizational needs and growth.
Provide change management and organizational effectiveness consulting in partnership with the HR Business Partners. Stay abreast of learning & development trends and practices ensuring that Virtua remains a leading employer of choice.
Must be able to work onsite as needed.
Required Experience:
5+ years related experience with an emphasis on program management
Excellent and varied facilitation/presentation skills (virtual and in person) and the ability to educate diverse audiences
Proven experience in the application of adult learning theory, curriculum development, and instructional design
Must be able to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines
Exceptional project management skills
Experience and proven results with training evaluation methods
Experience with 360-degree feedback, DiSC and other assessment tools
Experience with learning management systems
Experience vetting and managing external vendors
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions
Proficiency with virtual facilitation platforms (Teams, Zoom)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline; Master's Degree in one of the following areas preferred: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership or related field.
Training / Certification / Licensure:
MBTI, DISC, or other behavioral assessment instruments
