Job Overview:
We are seeking a Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction, primarily in supervisory roles. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of healthcare construction requirements and be proficient in all facets of construction management, including project planning, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the implementation of safe practices throughout project execution.
Assist in developing and communicating the project plan, including schedule, site logistics, safety, and quality programs.
Coordinate work among multiple subcontractors and lead regular coordination meetings.
Plan and manage shutdowns and tie-ins.
Maintain daily project reports using 360 Field.
Ensure all work complies with contract documents.
Address and resolve construction issues to maintain subcontractor productivity.
Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
Experience working in occupied buildings.
Proficient in all aspects of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction.
Extensive experience in building layout and control.
Proficient with iOS devices and applications for blueprint navigation and review.
Skilled in document change and RFI management.
Strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout projects.
Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
Ability to monitor and manage production across various trades.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Project for creating and updating detailed schedules.
Competent in using Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and training others.
Excellent communication skills for leading meetings and coordinating with owners and designers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific experience in healthcare construction.
Proven ability to work in occupied buildings.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to maintain performance under pressure.
