THE JOB: As the Special Events Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the project management of events including casino marketing, sponsorship activations and other events at the property level. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us. THE DAY-TO-DAY: This role involves applying project management principles to plan and execute events.It includes defining the scope, setting objectives, creating a project plan, managing resources, and evaluating success. Interacting with management, staff, vendors, guests, and other departments/divisions to address event-related matters. Ensuring events run smoothly, meeting high standards, and resolving challenges during execution. Managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing outcomes. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has a bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent large event management experience. Has at least two (2) years of experience in special events, promotions, or VIP services in the casino industry. Motivated self-starters who take initiative and drive results. Creative problem solvers who approach challenges with innovative solutions. Individuals who can manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively. express themselves clearly, actively listen, and convey information efficiently.
