PURPOSE: The Senior Treasury analyst is responsible for ensuring the company's operating subsidiaries have optimal cash balances to run the business. This involves building and maintaining short-term cash forecasts, managing multiple bank accounts, and coordinating cash movements between subsidiaries using inter-company financing arrangements and other methods. This position will also assist with short-term investments, borrowings, and other Treasury-related activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Utilize automated systems and processes to manage cash balances and investments.
  • Establish cash position and short-term cash forecast to ensure Lincoln's various subsidiaries have sufficient liquidity.
  • Coordinate monthly process to settle inter-company charges ("Netting"), serving as single point of contact for netting participants and administering the company's intercompany invoice netting software.
  • Maintain portfolio of inter-company loans. This includes creating and maintaining appropriate loan documentation and communicating loan details to involved parties. Ensure the proper calculation and payment of loan interest and adherence to other terms and covenants.
  • Maintain and update corporate bank account database
  • Carry out analyses related to bank fee charges, cash flow forecasts, foreign currency exposure forecasts, and others as needed.
  • Assist with other Treasury-related tasks including interest income and expense forecasting, the settlement of currency trades, etc.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • B.S. with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Five years of Corporate Treasury, international finance, or other related experience. The combination of academic study and relevant experience will be considered when evaluating the candidate
  • While this position requires a high level of attention to detail, the individual should be able to apply critical thinking on a macro level as well.
  • Strong analytical and systems background capable of sophisticated modeling and use of third-party software applications, including treasury management systems and banking applications.
  • Ability to identify, value, and communicate financial risk in investments and commercial transactions.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and persuasive approaches should be complemented by the capacity to cultivate cohesive working relationships, garner company wide support, and assist business units.
  • Capable of developing relationships and negotiating with bank contacts to procure banking products that create value for Lincoln Electric.
