Aerospace Procurement Sourcing Manager

The Aerospace Procurement Sourcing Manager is a highly visible leadership role that requires frequent interaction with senior leaders throughout the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the RFP process of sourcing raw materials and finished goods for new & potential CMS (chemical management services) sites domestically and internationally. You will also, manage the sourcing for RFPs & new program implementations which includes requirements gathering, sourcing, supplier strategy development, supplier set-ups, contract negotiations, and obtaining export information.

This position works closely with the CMS Implementation Systems Manager to ensure that projects are completed within a timely manner and where it aligns with the business needs, and will report to the USCA Procurement Operations and Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the team's projects and ensuring team members are meeting established goals.
  • Collect and analyze the business requirements, key cost drivers, supplier capabilities and industry trends to develop and implement category sourcing strategies that will optimize overall value for PPG
  • Development of project strategies and best practices and the writing of the SOPs for the CMS Sourcing processes.
  • Maintaining and updating CMS sourcing templates and documents and Supplier database within sourcing tools.
  • Developing, establishing, analyzing, and optimizing the sourcing strategy to align with the business's goals.
  • Deliver accurate and competitive pricing for new CMS implementations which includes requirements gathering, sourcing, supplier strategy development, supplier set-ups, contract negotiations, and obtaining export information.
  • Drive annual working capital improvement across the managed categories in the region
  • Implement service level agreements for key vendors.
  • Develop quarterly communication reviews with key region stakeholders.
  • Effectively and efficiently managing a team remotely by keeping them engaged and maintaining high productivity levels.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) or more years' of experience in procurement or supply chain role
  • Knowledge of QAD and Aero TSS preferred
  • Knowledge of IT tools such as Jaegger, SAP, PowerBI, SSP, Qstrat, MS Office (Excel, Access), SharePoint and Intranet is a plus
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen / Persons
