Description:

•Support all aspects of the monthly financial close process including account reconciliations, consolidation, and preparation of monthly reporting package. Ensure all activities have been recorded, accounts reconciled, and reporting completed on a timely basis.

•Responsible for providing guidance to other team members, leading the company's consolidation process, review journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of the financials using IFRS.

•Prepare error-free global financial reports in a timely manner

•Assist in creation and maintenance of internal controls and policies

•Prepare financial statements, schedules, and analyses, along with supporting documentation for the year-end audit and monthly review

•Assist with annual audits and interim test work performed by external auditors. Manage external auditors' requests, schedules, and timelines to complete annual audits in accordance with reporting deadlines.

•Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement within the close process and implement process improvements

•Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures

•Implement automation of accounting processes

•Help the organization to adhere and comply with various statutory and regulatory requirements

•Collect data, analyze information, prepare reports and make recommendations on special projects as needed

Requirements:

•8 -10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public and private

•5+ years of management experience. Track record developing high-performance individuals and teams

•Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA or ACCA required.

•In-depth knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting

  • Exceptional communication skills that demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
•Strong leadership with proven ability to collaborate with business partners to drive change

•Strong Microsoft Excel skills

•Experience with Manufacturing, Epicor, and NetSuite strongly encouraged
  • CMA, CGMA, MBA a plus
