ABOUT THE POSITION The Stewardship Support Coordinator (SSC) lets donors, board members, and customers know that Prepare + Prosper (P+P) cares about and sees them as our partners. Were looking for someone who can make them feel that way someone who invites deeper connection from our key stakeholders and wont shy away from doing some detective work to learn how new donors became connected to us or how to best engage specific Board members and customers.

The SSC is responsible for knowing our partners through supporting the executive director in Board engagement, work with the development team, data management, and assisting communications and engagement efforts. The SSC will also assist the teams in predicting future giving, keeping donor and supporters connected to P+P, and identifying areas of potential deeper engagement.

The coordinator promotes and incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion in planning, decision-making, and program implementation to advance P+Ps racial equity and economic justice commitment to address systemic racism and foster trust in supporting customers in building financial well-being.

**Responsibilities**

HOW THE POSITION BREAKS DOWN

Administrative Support (approximately 50% of the position) Board and Executive Director: Work with executive director in supporting the work of the Board of Directors including meeting arrangements and scheduling, note taking, the development, and distribution of Board materials, compiling reports, and correspondence. Work with executive director to support their efforts in donor relations, communications and outreach, and events.

Communications and Engagement Support: Provide administrative support for communications and engagement efforts.

Data Management (approximately 15%): Serve as primary user of fundraising database, ensuring consistency and adherence to established organizational guidelines and procedures. Maintain foundation, corporation, and individual donor database entries.

Individual Giving (approximately 10% of the position): Maintain calendar of individual donor cultivation activities and manage the scheduling and arrangements for meetings with donors. Work with the internal team to implement all components of Give to the Max Day (GTMD).

Foundation and Corporate Giving (approximately 10% of the position): Manage scheduling and arrangements for funder meetings. Utilizing tools such as databases and lists, research relevant corporate, foundation, and government grant opportunities and determine whether P+P is a fit. Write and submit letters of inquiry and other introductory correspondence, adhering to funder requirements.

Event Planning (approximately 10% of the position): Maintain guest lists and gather and prepare registration materials for fundraising events. Assist with fundraising event logistics and planning, including P+Ps annual fundraising event and other stakeholder engagement events. Assist with seeking sponsorships, silent auction items, and other methods to produce event revenue.

Other (approximately 5% of the position): Attend and actively participate in professional development opportunities, required educational programs, and departmental and staff meetings. Participate in communications to support P+Ps policy and advocacy work.

**Qualifications**

2 or more years of work experience preferred (e.g., sales, fundraising, administrative support, or data management). Proven previous skills in relationship-building and effective communication with important external stakeholders such as funders, donors, and partners. Strong written communication skills. Succinct, clear writer. Active listening and clear communication to ensure effective teamwork with others. Experience in and comfort with using the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word) and databases. Experience with some sort of database (e.g., Microsoft Access, Raisers Edge, TrailBlazer) a plus. Training provided in database application and revenue coding. Able to manage and prioritize time and numerous deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
