Walter USA is looking for a Customer Service Representative - U.S. West (Remote work):

Customer Service Representative

Walter USA, LLC has an opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the West Coast. The CSR is responsible for providing accurate and professional service to the internal and external customers of Walter USA.

The hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MST.

Key Performance Areas

  • Accurately process inquiries and orders received via email, phone, or fax to complete the order entry process. Navigating the customer journey to best in class service.
  • Provide accurate and in-depth responses to questions, concerns, and requests from our distributors and sales force pertaining to activities at WUS
  • Coordinate information regarding orders, standard quotes and related questions with all relevant areas of the company to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the other associates to ensure prompt quality service and/or assist with other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
  • Be a liaison with other departments to problem solve customer challenges
  • Provide in depth responses to RMA, Invoices, Scheduling information, Credits, Debits as well as other information pertaining to the CS activities
  • Provide valuable input into the customer service process to optimize the customer experience.
  • Implement company services policies, philosophies and directives accurately and professionally when dealing with customers, distributors and our sales force to meet WUS's sales goals
  • Maintain professional demeanor in all types of verbal and written communication to portray WUS's world class customer service
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in other projects of the sales and marketing department as needed
  • Other duties assigned by manager
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
Your Profile
  • Multi-tasking skills to handle numerous and varied detailed tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Proactive thought process with strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure technical environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience in an office within tooling industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft products including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Epicor and/or SAP ERP experience preferred
  • High school education or equivalent. Additional and continuous education suggested.
  • Available to work flexible hours to cover required business hours.
