About the RoleWe're seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and help turn our consumer-facing fashion app (launching soon) into a household name. As our Social Media Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving user growth and increasing brand awareness for our app via organic social channels. If you're an expert at crafting captivating TikTok and Instagram content with an insatiable appetite for creativity, then keep reading.This is a collaborative position that also requires a high degree of independent work due to the nature of our small team. The Social Media Manager will report to the Marketing Director.ResponsibilitiesCraft authentic, engaging content on TikTok and Instagram that increases awareness of our app across organic social media channelsDevelop and curate a strategic content calendar that keeps our social media presence fresh, relevant, and in tune with the latest trendsThink outside of the box as you brainstorm innovative content ideas inspired by trends and pop culture phenomena, ensuring our brand stays ahead of the curveTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, impressions, and clicks on our organic social media channels, using insights to refine strategies and optimize resultsBecome a face of the company and embrace your role as a brand ambassador, forging meaningful connections with our app's existing user base while actively recruiting new devotees to the foldStay on the cutting edge of social media trends and emerging platforms, keeping us at the forefront of the digital conversationFoster a sense of community and trust by engaging authentically with our followers in comments and direct messages, nurturing relationships and fostering loyaltyCollaborate on the development of our influencer marketing strategy and lead the charge in organic influencer outreach, leveraging partnerships to amplify our messagingPreferred Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceProficiency in social media management, with a particular knack for TikTok and Instagram; bonus points for a vibrant personal presence on social media platformsFearless creativity is your forte - you thrive on dreaming up bold and unconventional ideas that captivate audiencesExceptional time management and organizational skills that allow you to efficiently juggle multiple projects and deadlinesStellar interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to connect authentically with our audience and collaborate effectively with team membersComfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving start-up environment; you're skilled at taking the reins when necessary and owning your projectsConfident and comfortable in front of the camera - you're not afraid to let your personality shine while filming videosA genuine passion for fashion and style.
