Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k - $95k

Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and filing various tax returns, handling compliance, and managing corporate income taxes.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant:

Prepare and file multi-state, federal, and state tax returns for C-corporations and Partnerships, including extensions and estimated payments Prepare federal and state consolidated tax returns and collaborate with corporate operating companies Identify, research, and resolve tax issues Perform corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning, and accounting Calculate tax basis and implications of proposed transactions Handle voluntary disclosures Analyze tax accounts and maintain communication with tax authorities Stay updated with current tax laws and regulations through continuous research

Qualifications for the Senior Tax Accountant:

Minimum 3 years of experience at another public accounting/CPA firm Highly analytical Strong communication skills

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
