Job Description

Starting pay is $18.00

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Visible, front-line guest service resource. Works non-gaming and gaming areas of the resort to provide directions, visible deterrent, and access control to hotel and other restricted areas.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following.)

1. Provides family-style service to guests - answering questions and providing directions in non-gaming and

gaming areas of the resort.

2. Observe and report - notify security of suspicious activity, policy violations, and emergencies.

3. Patrol non-gaming and gaming areas of the building, providing visible assistance to guests and reporting

anomalies to Security.

4. Help out with Pit fills and credits when necessary

5. Regular, predictable attendance in accordance with department policy.

6. Perform scheduled and emergency bill validator pull, and pit drop

7. Other job related duties as assigned.

8. Assist with lost and found

FAMILY STYLE SERVICE: Employee is required to meet the following Service Standards:

1. Welcome the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style welcome to each guest.

2. Engage the guest: Create a positive overall experience by providing genuine family style service to each internal

and external guest.

3. Part with the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style parting comment to each guest.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in

establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with staff and guest. Ability to read, write, and communicate

verbally in English. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses: Gaming Card Required

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy,

smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated. May require working at a level of 4 ft. above floor level, in confined areas,

around moving objects, in high places and on slippery surfaces. May come into contact with vibrations, solvents/oils,

fumes/odors and dirt/dust. Requires use of electrical devices, mechanical devices, and computer equipment. Constant

contact with staff and guest. Regular, predictable attendance and the ability to work flexible hours
