Position Summary This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understands the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of goals, objectives, and knowledge. This position must report to our Nashville office Monday - Friday. Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties Preparation of financial statements in adherence to business management related policies and procedures, including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, workers comp audits, etc. Prepare and present financial analysis, long term cash flow analysis, and P&L reporting solutions. Assist creation, review and approval of budgets. Assist with preparation, review and issuance of Corporate 1099s. Oversight over day-to-day financial management performed by Senior Staff Accountant: bill pay, general ledger coding and review, month-end close, company specific accounting and reporting. Oversight over day-to-day of work performed by Billing Manager: monthly client billing; time entry review;

billing/collections

reports, revenue tracking reporting, company specific and ad hoc reporting. Review work and accuracy of Senior Staff Accountants (AP/AR, cash receipts, payroll, etc.). Manage and complete month-end close procedures including general ledger review, various cash and investment account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation and accounts receivable reporting. Reconcile fixed assets monthly. Review expenses for capitalization. Prepare and/or review various vendor account reconciliations monthly. Prepare and/or review monthly technology software and billing reconciliations. Manage the process of payroll services, and oversight of associated journal entries. Proactively foster and develop professional relationships with client’s Trusted Advisors when discussing open matters. Assist in the qualification of annual financial statements for tax return purposes. Ensure team goals and deliverables are consistently met. Provide motivation, training, and development of team members for improvement and growth to team and individual career pathing. Training and development of Senior Accountant and Billing Manager. Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience using QuickBooks and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization. Extremely detail-oriented to create accurate and timely reports. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude & a fit with the company’s culture & values. Assist in managing the issuance of financial reporting packages (annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly deliverables).

Qualifications: CPA, CFP, or CMA required. Experience managing staff required. 10+ years of progressive public accounting, corporate

accounting/financial

reporting experience. Must have experience in partnering with an executive team and have high level written and oral communication skills. Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous job.
