Axalta's Talent Management Team is seeking an innovative, customer-obsessed, high-ownership and data-driven Talent Operations Manager to assist in developing and implementing a world class talent and learning strategy, streamline and create standard work and maintain the team's talent and learning management system. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area for Axalta. This position is responsible for the day-to-day technical and operational support for Axalta's Talent Management Systems (Talent and Learning Management), acting as a thought leader, architect, consultant and product owner.

Axalta's Talent Operations Manager will provide thought leadership for system architecture, implementation support for training initiatives, create technical requirements, system documentation, and support system maintenance and upgrades in partnership with Axalta's HR Technology Team.

Additionally, the Talent Operations Manager will act as business consultant to educate employees and leaders on how to use the system efficiently to manage the training of their teams, including training, documentation, running reports and managing content. In addition, this role will work with enrollment management, uploading new courses and content on the LMS, marking courses as complete, running reports, adding and removing admin rights, resolving technical issues, etc.

In addition to leading Axalta's Talent and Learning Management Technology, this role will be the lead support for Axalta's Digital Adoption Platform, WalkMe. As such, this role will partner with various Workday, Workstream Leader to identify, design, build and measure digital adoption solutions to enhance Workday user experience.

What You Will Do
Manages the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Talent and Learning Management System by collaborating with learning and business line colleagues including maintaining the LMS content quality, version control and archival information.
Develops, builds and maintains all elements related to LMS functionality, including but not limited to content integrations and creation, curriculum programs, LMS structure, and reporting.
Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
Develops standardized operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation and ensures governance model is being followed.
Ensures that talent and training systems are running properly at all times within the various platforms - without interruption, quality degradation, and without experiencing any avoidable technical issues that could diminish the overall user experience.
Partners with Workday, Workstream Leaders to identify digital support solutions, build digital solutions and measure effectiveness.
Assists in the development of comprehensive learning plans.
Communicate with a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Lead projects to drive efficiency across Axalta's Talent Management practices.
Provides training, support, guidance and coaching to LOB colleagues as well as other Talent Management Technology Specialists.
Provides reporting and analytics related to Talent and Learning activities.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Prior experience with Talent Management and Learning platforms and eLearning/Instructional design principles.
Prior experience with Workday integrations, architecture and maintenance.
Demonstrated expertise and proficiency with LMS/CMS systems and must have an interest in emerging technologies.
A passion for continuous improvement and learning.
A collaborative team spirit.
An entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.
A strong sense of ownership with commitment to driving extraordinary results.

Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience with Workday.
Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.
Prior experience in building digital support solutions with WalkMe.
Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and latest design trends with a strong eye for web typography, color, and layout.
Ability to problem-solve in the face of ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with different levels of technological understanding.
Experience in Instructional Design.
Experience in data analysis.
Experience collaborating and working with international stakeholders.
Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business priorities.
