Description

Primary Goal :

The On-site Talent Recruiter is responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified linguists to join GLOBO's Interpreting Team and day-to-day recruiting for our on-site and scheduled services. This position will also establish a GLOBO presence at local and national events to identify potential interpreters and facilitate their onboarding to deliver GLOBO services.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select candidates for the Independent Contractor roles through active and passive sourcing aligned with GLOBO's recruitment strategies.
  • Attend hiring events, job fairs, cultural events to build a network of qualified leads with a focus on desired verticals.
  • Network with refugee/cultural/interpreter/other appropriate associations and organizations to source individuals who can be trained as interpreters via GLOBO programs.
  • Conduct interviews with Independent Contractors to identify the most suitable freelance roles for them at GLOBO based on their desired skill set.
  • Handle compliance documentation for 1099 according to ISO requirements.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with Independent Contractors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Interpreters once on-boarded with GLOBO.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Scheduling Team on new/existing hires to ensure they are configured correctly on GLOBO's platforms.
  • Provide support for active interpreters in the form of 1099 verification letters, address changes, credentials updates, etc.
  • Communicate with the Scheduling Team daily on new hires' engagement.
  • Provide recruitment reports to the Manager.
  • Work closely with the Scheduling Team and Operations to scale the talent pool in sync with business needs in the Pennsylvania region and other GLOBO client's market needs.
  • Maintain active presence on social media platforms
  • Support Talent team/other recruiters in on-going on-demand efforts when onboarding on-site leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 2 years direct recruiting experience or working in the language industry
  • Demonstrated experience working in person at social events
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Experience with Apple/Mac Operating System preferred

  • Located in the tri-state area (NJ, PA, DE)
  • Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment, without the reliance on direct authority
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements, providing expert advice and financial counsel on interpreting rates
  • Broad understanding of current and emerging technology practices
Travel: Travel to events near all GLOBO sites or future acquisitions is required, which may amount to 30% of the month of travel time
