Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will assist and support the Accounting Department with key accounting functions including entering and validating transactions and reconciling complex accounts.

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate accounts with heavy volume Assist in coordinating and monitoring corporate check deposits and related accounting Prepare journal entries, as needed Prepare month-end general ledger account reconciliations Perform month-end close processes, as assigned Communicate and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization Assist with projects, compliance, and other accounting or treasury functions, as needed Requirements

BS/BA degree in Business Administration - Accounting One plus years of accounting experience with working knowledge of the month-end close process Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Highly organized, attention to detail, self-starter Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to create efficiencies and improve process Expert skills in MS Excel working with large data sets, including the ability to utilize the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, concatenating formulas, conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables. Experience with Workday general ledger a plus Company Perks
