WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Marketing Coordinator will be successful when:

The marketing coordinator develops, coordinates, and executes integral sales processes to generate awareness for Continental and partner brands to convert opportunities into clients. They collect data about target demographics and analyze market trends to improve a company's marketing efforts. Marketing coordinators will track project lifecycles and work with the marketing teams to achieve marketing goals related to sales. A strong "left & right" brained thinker, the Marketing Coordinator will own the proposal/presentation process and lead all proposal/presentation-related initiatives.

This Marketing Coordinator is forward-thinking and contributes to strategies for the development and maintenance of systems and processes to streamline proposal/document preparation, and also facilitates the collection and dissemination of up-to-date marketing information. This Marketing Coordinator assists in developing and implementing brand standards and quality control marketing related material, both internal and external.

The Marketing Coordinator takes direction from the Sales Marketing Manager and the Director of Sales Marketing, and works collaboratively with the Marketing and Sales Teams, and select key Operators. The Marketing Team engages with all groups in the organization, informing key decisions with strategic insights, and creating the sustainable value-narratives in the markets we serve. Collaboration communication and being detail oriented are key to the success of this position.

WHAT IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
  • Develop an advanced understanding of Continental's business (across all brands) and best practices
  • Manage all proposals and proposal processes via Smartsheet's for Continental's portfolio of brands
  • Review proposals with the Corporate Brand Manager & Business Development Managers
  • Establish the schedule for the creation of proposals including printing, binding and delivery
  • Prioritization and management of workload based upon proposal/project deadlines
  • Collecting, organizing, and updating boilerplate information, project descriptions, photography & videos for proposals, presentations or other materials via the Brandfolder (Digital Asset Management Tool)
  • Coordinate and prepare special projects requested by Business Development, Operations, Creative and Marketing
  • Adaptation and utilization of Basecamp, a project management tool used to manage all past, present and future projects
  • Performs other marketing duties as assigned
Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated professional writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Comfortable in openly sharing & receiving feedback on proposals/presentations/projects
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Education, Training, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in writing/managing proposal/presentation projects and proposal development
  • Proficient Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel and the ability to learn Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Light Travel as needed
