CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER FOR NORTH TEXAS is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled This position provides direct oversight and supervision to the Family Advocates and the Family Advocate Internship Program. This position will carry a caseload and provide case management, advocacy, community resource referrals, and internal referrals to new and existing clients. This position is responsible for assisting with the training and strategic planning of the Family Advocate Team.Compensation: $62,000. Salary is based on experience.The Family Advocate Supervisor's responsibilities include: Provide weekly and ongoing supervision to family advocates and the FA Intern ProgramAssist with oversight of the professional growth and development of FAsAssist the Assistant Director of Client Services with team building of staffResponsible for functionality of the Rainbow Rooms at assigned locationsResponsible for internal FA case assignmentOversight of direct services programs (i.e., Back to School, Christmas)Provide consultation to MDT investigatorsProvide oversight of case management including the following, but not limited to:Follow up with clients, serving as a liaison between the client and various systemsConduct crisis case management and intensive case managementEducate families on criminal and/or civil processes in relation to child abuseAssist clients in completing applications for Texas Crime Victims Compensation benefitsProvide information, internal and external referrals to existing clients, and outside referralsProvide court accompaniment when appropriateProvide appropriate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from the database as it relate to grant reporting and strategic goalsDocument appropriately and monitor FAs documentation through monthly quality checksParticipate in MDT Case ReviewParticipate in training, continuing education, and victim advocacy peer review according to accreditation standardsAttend community meetings and interface with professionals in the field of child abuse and social servicesPartner with forensic interview and clinical department for effective service delivery and client engagementParticipate in the On-Call rotation, requiring after-hours and holiday availabilityTravel to all locations as needed to provide in-person supervision or direct servicesOther duties as assignedTravel:This position is based in the Lewisville, TX office.
